“Small changes and small steps can create massive impact.” ~ Melissa McCreery
So many people (and organizational cultures, sadly) focus way too much on how many hours people are working rather than what sorts of impact and results they deliver.
This doesn’t have to be the case.
When we change our focus to impact, not hours, we can actually get more important things done in less time.
Use the Pareto Principle, or 80/20 Rule. It suggests that 80% of the results we get is due to only 20% of the effort we put in. If we can focus our time to focus on the 20% of actions that can deliver the greatest results, we can deliver more impact for our organizations and work less hours.
Grow your career by focusing on work impact, not work hours. You’ll be amazed at how it changes things!
How will you shift your time?
